ISLAMABAD – Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that the party workers are his strength and realisation of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto’s dreams is his goal.
He said PPP has a history of struggle for human rights and democracy. He expressed these views while talking to various delegations of the party which called on him at Zardari House here on Monday.
Bilawal said that former president Asif Ali Zardari restored constitution in its original form and provinces were given autonomy through 18th amendment in constitution. He gave identity to the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit-Baltistan. He asked the PPP workers to forge unity in their ranks.
He said PPP is the only party which represents labourers, farm workers, students, downtrodden, women and minorities and will win next elections with their support. He said the PPP will continue to resist extremists and terrorist and the PPP is striving for a democratic, pluralistic and progressive Pakistan.
