GHALLANAI: A Khasadar force official on Tuesday sustained injuries in an improvised explosive device (IED) bombing in Safi Tehsil of Mohmand Agency, official sources said. They said militants had planted the explosives in the fields in the Alingar area of Safi Tehsil. They said the explosives went off as the Khasadar personnel were moving through the fields. As a result, the official sustained injuries, they added. The injured soldier, whose identity could not be ascertained, was shifted to a hospital.
