MUZAFFARABAD: Election Commission of Azad Jammu Kashmir Secretary Mian Naeem Ullah on Thursday said he expected a greater turnout as compared to the 2011 polls, which was 48 per cent.
Talking to PTV news, Secretary Naeem Ullah said the polling officials have seen much enthusiasm by the people of Kashmir while they were casting their vote in Thursday’s elections.
He also expressed his satisfaction over the security arrangements as no major complaints have been received so far except for some petty complaints.
To a question, the secretary assured that the code of conduct of the process of polling was fully being implemented on the basis of identity card of the voters.
