ISLAMABAD: Senator Rehman Malik on Wednesday called on Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto and apprised him of the party matters of the overseas chapters.
According to a statement issued by the party’s media cell, Bilawal said the overseas wings were the arms and force multipliers of the party and directed Malik to keep him abreast of their issues.
Earlier, a delegation of party leaders from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa called on the PPP chairman and discussed with him overall political situation in the province. Talking with the provincial party leaders, Bilawal asked them to reach out to the party workers and people in the province with a view to mobilising the people.
“It is of critical importance that our party office bearers and leaders stand by the people and partake in their joys and sorrow in these difficult times when the government has not been able to redress their grievances,” he said.
